Glenwood Williams Jr., Senior Pastor of Edified Christian Ministries International (ECMI) is a native of Glasgow, Virginia. He is the proud husband of Kimberly Joy Williams, Minister of the Gospel; father of two lovely daughters Rene’ya and Rotoya Williams, and grandfather of Elisha Williams.

Pastor Williams, an alumnus of Bowie State University, has been preaching the gospel for over 20 years. He has traveled extensively presenting at conferences and seminars. Preaching and teaching the Word of God is his fulltime dedication. He is persuaded that God is building the Church according to what He has envisioned and purposed in His Word. He has been appointed District Elder, consecrated Bishop, and coroneted an Apostle to the body of Christ.

As Pastor at ECMI he has ordained deacons, trained pastors, evangelists, and licensed ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Numerous ministries have been birthed during his leadership.

As a servant of God, he focuses on edifying God’s people by encouraging them to walk in integrity and to develop a Word of God Lifestyle. He believes that the Word of God is the only thing that can combat the adverse circumstances of life. The call of God on his life is to take the Word to the nations and he is committed to the great commission by whatever means the Lord provides.

He is the author of “Simple Salvation.” In September 2003, Edified began their broadcast ministry that can be viewed in the Alexandria and Arlington, VA areas on cable via Comcast Channel 69. Pastor Williams believes that God has called him to reach the nations through print, broadcasts, television, radio and travel. Acts 20:32 “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
